'Stand in' in the Bible

The men of Beth-shemesh asked, “Who is able to stand in the presence of this holy Lord God? Who should the ark go to from here?”

And they will run and and take him from thence, and he will stand in the midst of the people; and he will be high above all the people,. from his shoulders and above.

If they say to us, ‘Wait until we come to you’; then we will stand in our place and not go up to them.
